The South Iowa Cedar League released the all conference baseball teams for 2020 and Keota had five players receive accolades.
Colten Clarahan as a pitcher and Brady Duwa as an outfielder were both named to the first team. Clarahan was the Eagles’ shutdown hurler with a 1.46 ERA in 38 1/3 innings of work and his 64 strikeouts led the conference. The sophomore also led the team at the dish with a .439 average and 14 RBI. Duwa compiled a .393 on base percentage and his 14 runs scored was best on the squad.
Patrick Clarahan was named to the second team for his work in the outfield. The junior produced a .415 on base percentage and brought in eight tallies. Nolan Verstraete and Carson Sprouse rounded out the selections being recognized as honorable mention. Verstraete managed 10 RBI and Sprouse recorded a .407 OBP.
Keota finished the summer with a 7-8 record.
