The Riverside City Council will meet to discuss payments for their Fourth Street and safe routes to school projects, and new members for the Riverside Fire Department. Crews recently completed underground work on Fourth Street and only have the paving of streets and sidewalks to complete. For their safe routes to school project, crews poured concrete for all the sidewalks on the week of July 20th and worked the week of July 27 on backfill and topsoil to prepare for final grading and sod placement. The council looks to pay J&L Construction $106,931.53 for completed work on the Fourth Street project and $120,058.84 to All American Concrete for work done on the safe routes to school project. The council will also discuss the addition of two new members to the Riverside Fire Department, Lindsay Swailes and James Collins. The council will call the meeting to order at the Riverside Fire Station beginning at 6 p.m.
