The first football game of the season for the Demons has been changed following the derecho that hit the state last week. Initially Washington was set to host Marion to kick off the season, but due to storm recovery Marion will not be coming to town. Instead, the Demons will host Bettendorf.

It will be a varsity only game starting at 7 p.m. on August 28th. The game will still be teacher appreciation night for the Demons.

The marching band’s senior night has been moved to September 11th.
