The United Presbyterian Home is partnering with Washington County Hospital and Clinics following the announcement of the closure of McCreedy Home. McCreedy Home is a long-term care facility at WCHC and it will close by November 1st. The UP Home is working with WCHC to transition the 22 residents and help keep them in Washington. The UP Home will be admitting 15 of the residents over the next several weeks.
The nursing facility at the UP Home typically runs at full occupancy, however with the COVID-19 pandemic, admissions have been low to help protect staff and residents. With the increase in residents, the UP Home will have several direct care staffing positions available.
