Three $500 scholarships were recently awarded to members of the 2020 Washington High School class. The Optimist Club of Washington awarded a $500 scholarship to Jadon Crawford and another to Caleb Tanner. Crawford is attending Kirkwood Community College with a major in Film and Cinematics. Tanner is attending the University of Iowa and is majoring in Business and Finance.

Also, the Misty Morning Monarchs Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation of Washington County awarded $500 to Evan Horak. He is attending Iowa State University and will major in Mechanical Engineering.
