A Washington man was arrested after an argument in the 700 block of South C Avenue Thursday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, a person overheard an argument and called it in to dispatch. Officers responded and arrested 46-year-old Michael Dean Carlin. He’s been charged with false imprisonment, a serious misdemeanor; domestic abuse assault impeding air flow causing bodily injury, a class D felony; possession of contraband in a correctional facility, a class D felony; and interference with official acts. Charges are also pending DCI Lab results. Carlin was taken to the Washington County Jail.
