The KCII Big Red Radio joined in the fun Saturday at the Kewash Half Marathon. The Big Red Radio provided music along the route in Sunset Park. Runners started at Central Park, did a loop to Stewart Elementary, back under the railroad underpass, through Sunset Park, out on the Kewash Trail nearly to West Chester, and then back to town to get in their 13.1 miles.

Organizer Shawn Loy told KCII News approximately 400 people signed up for the event that offered a half marathon, 10k, or 5k run and some of those were done virtually. So, this year there were people from Wyoming to Virginia taking part in Washington’s race.
