An award will be presented to the Washington County Board of Supervisors at their weekly meeting Tuesday. County Attorney Major John Gish has requested that the Department of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Seven Seals Award be presented to the board. Gish is currently deployed in the Army Reserves in Kuwait. He is serving as the Nightshift Battle Major. Gish is expected to return to Iowa early next year.

Also in their meeting, the supervisors will consider a contract for a bridge replacement on 130th Street, a request for reimbursement from the Iowa COVID-19 Government Relief Fund, and resurfacing concerns on County Road W64.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday and can be accessed remotely by the public.
