A Missouri man was arrested on multiple charges including assault on persons in certain occupations after an incident in Washington County Saturday night. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 8:30 p.m. authorities were notified of a man with items that appeared to be cannabis.
Authorities arrested 37-year-old Adam Lee Barnes of Kahoka, Missouri. He was charged with public intoxication, interference with official acts, and assault on persons in certain occupations. He has additional charges pending DCI Lab results for possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute.
He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
