Fireworks, grant contracts, and a mayoral proclamation regarding a policy on the prohibition of the use of excessive force are on the agenda for tonight’s Washington City Council meeting. Also on the agenda are two special presentations including high school homecoming parade plans and a virtual 5k for Hospice of Washington County.

The meeting will conclude with a workshop regarding parking and traffic on South Avenue C, as well as the city’s farm leases. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Washington Fire Station and can also be accessed virtually.
