Crooked Creek Christian Camp will host an online auction to offset a large loss in income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Estimates from camp officials say $104,000 was lost due to cancelling events and guest group activities. Program Director Saralyn Oyer says the auction platform they plan to use will allow the camp to keep 100% of the funds raised. Items the camp will have up for auction include a pool party at the camp’s brand new pool, a night stay at the Shepherd’s Inn, handmade cards, and more. Donated items for the auction from community members will be accepted through November 13. The online auction will be held in December.
