The Iowa High School Track and Field Coaches Association has released their first in-season individual poll for 2020 cross country. The Mid-Prairie girls have their entire six runner varsity team ranked in the top 20 runners in class 2A. The Golden Hawks are led by Danielle Hostetler who checks in at No. 1 in the state this week. In her debut the freshman crushed program time records set by her older sisters Anna and Marie. Also in the poll for the Golden Hawks are Ana Fleming ninth, Jaden Yoder 10th, Sydney Yoder 12th, Mitzi Evans 16th, and Abby Fleming 20th.
The Mid-Prairie boys have a pair of ranked runners in the top 30 with Chandler Hershberger at No. 21 and Thaddeus Shetler 29th.
In class 1A Brody Barton from Winfield-Mt. Union is ranked 28th.
