The Kalona and Wellman Public Libraries will celebrate Labor Day and not fulfill curbside pickup orders on Monday. The Kalona Library will still hold their appointment dates today and will fulfill any curbside pickup orders that were scheduled to be picked up today. Wellman Library Director Carol Wilkins says no pickup orders or in-person appointments are scheduled for this weekend, but if patrons send in pickup orders or appointment times, she’d be more than happy to accommodate for them and open the library. Patrons can call either library to set up a 30-minute appointment time to browse their collections or use their computers, or order books through the curbside pickup program.
