A Washington County 4-H member took first place in the 4-H State Shooting Sports Match. Zane Fisher of the Bows and Bullets 4-H Club took part in the contest at Big Spring’s Shoot Complex in Searsboro. There were 21 counties represented by 96 4-H members. Fisher took first place for small-bore rifle. With his first place finish, Fisher qualifies for nationals. He is the son of Duane and Vicky of West Chester.
The Bows and Bullets 4-H Club meets monthly and is open to any youth in fourth through 12th grade who have an interest in the outdoors and shooting sports.
