Confidence is brewing for the Lone Tree volleyball team after a successful Saturday in Midland, as the Lions won three of four matches in a tournament.

The Lions were swept by Central City (11-21, 9-21), but took care of business by defeating Morningstar Academy (21-18, 21-17), Midland (21-16, 23-25, 15-10), and Calamus-Wheatland (9-21, 21-19, 15-11). Alyssa Knock was everywhere defensively finishing the day with 35 digs, Kylie Patterson registered 17 kills, and Kayla Dautremont recorded 20 assists.

The Lions move to 4-7 overall and get back on the court Thursday hosting Louisa-Muscatine.
