The Lone Tree Community School District will transition from their hybrid learning to fully on-site learning this month. In the first three weeks of the school year, the district has not seen any positive COVID-19 tests from students or staff. As of Friday, two students and no staff members were in quarantine due to coming in contact with a positive COVID-19 case. The district will have all elementary students returning to on-site learning beginning Monday. The middle school and high school will continue with the hybrid learning model until September 25 and then transition to 100% on-site learning. The school district will still require the use of face coverings for students and staff and will socially distance where possible. As of Friday, Johnson County’s 14-day COVID-19 positivity rate was 16.3%.
