A Team Trump on Tour charter bus visited downtown Washington on a rainy Friday morning. The pundits for the campaign met a crowd at the Washington County Republican Headquarters. The speakers gathered in front of an American flag with a photo of President Donald Trump giving a thumbs up printed on it. Speakers were slated to include former acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker, conservative activist Matt Schlapp, President and CEO of Concerned Women for America Penny Nancy, Director of Press Communications for the Trump Campaign Erin Perrine, and Republican Congressional candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks. After the Washington event, a full slate of Trump events were held in eastern Iowa.
