An Iowa City woman was arrested in Washington County on a warrant for identity theft and forgery. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle at 220th Street and Riverside Road on September 4th.

Officers arrested 42-year-old Juana Nancy Martinez on a warrant out of Iowa City. She was charged with forgery and identity theft. She was also charged in Washington County with no valid driver’s license, no insurance, and speeding.

Bond was set at $20,000 and she was transported to the Johnson County
