It’s homecoming in Winfield tonight and the Wolves are looking to get a win over the 2-1 Iowa Valley Tigers.

The Tigers are coming off of a 44-28 win over Meskwaki Settlement in week three. Winfield is trying to start a winning streak coming off of a 62-6 win against Twin Cedars to push their record to 2-1. In their game against the Sabers, the Wolves had no passing yards, but had a huge run game with a combined team yardage of 318 yards on 39 carries. Cam Buffington led the defense with 6 tackles and an interception. These two teams have faced each other six times since 2007 with the record being 5-1 in favor of Iowa Valley. The Wolves are hoping to keep the ground attack going with Buffington who leads the team in rushing with 359 yards.

All of the action gets started at 7 p.m. tonight in Winfield.
