A pair of KCII area volleyball teams traveled west on Saturday to take part in the North Mahaska Warhawk tournament.

The WACO Warriors won all five matches on their Saturday, beating Tri-County 21-5 and 21-8, Lynnville-Sully 21-15, 22-24 and 15-8, Grinnell 21-5, 15-21 and 15-10, HLV 23-25, 25-10 and 15-7 and Prairie City Monroe 25-16 and 25-19. For the tournament, the Warriors were led by Morgan Graber with 46 kills, Grace Coble piled up 100 assists and Aubrey Garnsey finished with 60 digs. WACO is now 17-1 on the season.

Sigourney went 0-3 at the event. The Savages dropped matches to HLV 21-14 and 21-8, North Mahaska 21-17 and 22-20 and Prairie City Monroe 21-13 and 21-17. Sigougney now stands at 3-9 on the year.
