It was a successful night in Riverside on Tuesday, as the Highland volleyball team took a dip out conference and handled Morningstar Academy in straight sets.

The Huskies cruised to set wins of 25-8, 25-14, and 25-18. Spreading the wealth was the offensive theme, as nine players recorded kills led by Carson Mellinger with four. Dani Laughlin assisted on 12 points, Sarah Burton and Mackinze Hora each had seven digs, Payton Brun was a force at the net with six blocks, and the team was successful on 94% of their serves with 17 aces. 

Highland improves to 3-7 and returns to the court tomorrow in Wayland for the Southeast Iowa Super Conference tournament.
