The Columbus Wildcat volleyball team came away from a triangular Tuesday at Louisa-Muscatine High School with a win and a loss. The Wildcats knocked off the English Valleys Bears in straight sets by scores of 25-5, 25-22 and 25-22. Columbus was led in the win by Olivia Carrier with 13 kills and her 13 digs on defense. Jobie Lekwa added 11 assists. The Wildcats were swept by L-M by scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-21. In the match Columbus was led by Carrier with five kills. Sera Vela had seven assists and Emma Milder 14 digs. With the split, the Wildcats now stand at 7-11 as they get ready for Thursday’s Southeast Iowa Superconference Tournament.
