A Pella-based ministry is expanding their services to the Fairfield community. The Well helps any and all individuals who are struggling to reach long-term stability in their lives through partnerships and programs aimed at meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The ministry purchased the Four Square Community Church and will convert it into a resource center and a thrift store. CEO Jayson Henry talks about how his organization expanded to Fairfield, “We have actually been working with a team down there called Cornerstone Community Well. I have had a relationship with Carol [last name], who leads the efforts there, and have been there for about five years now. They have been working hard at trying to establish a ministry there in Fairfield to support similar needs that we do as an organization. About a year ago, they approached me and said, ‘Hey, would you guys consider coming over here and putting your organization here, and we will just get absorbed up into you?’ We pulled a team together, we scoped it out, and decided to put a Well in Fairfield.” Renovations for the building began earlier this month. The new building is expected to be open by the end of the year.
