Highland students will return to 100% in-person learning beginning Monday, October 5. The district started off the school year with a hybrid learning model, where students attended in-person classes every other day and completed assignments on off days to cut in half how many were in classrooms at once. The school board voted unanimously at Monday’s meeting to have the entire district return to 100% in-person classes. At this time, all individuals who are on Highland property will be required to wear a face mask when social distancing cannot be achieved.
