September in Washington started with rainy days and it is coming to a close in similar fashion. So far this month, Washington has had 4.3 inches of precipitation, about one inch above normal. On Sunday, Washington received nearly an inch of precipitation with temperatures reaching a high of 70 degrees. The low temperature Sunday was 50 degrees.
Cool temperatures and mostly sunny skies are expected the rest of the week with high temperatures in the 60s most days and overnight lows in the low-40s.
