The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team stayed perfect in Southeast Iowa Superconference play Thursday, defending their homecourt with a sweep of visiting Hillcrest Academy. The Lady Wolves took the match by scores of 25-8, 25-5 and 25-7. WMU was led on the night by Jenna Buffington with 12 kills, Keely Malone with five assists and Keetyn Townsley with nine digs. With the loss, the Ravens are now 1-15 on the year. Winfield-Mt. Union improves to 16-5.
