An Iowa Congressman has been presented an award from America’s Service Commissions. Congressman Dave Loebsack was named a 2020 Friend of America’s Service Commissions. The virtual awards program recognized leadership and accomplishments of state service commissions, staff, service programs, and legislative partners from across the country.

Loebsack has worked to increase funding and support for various service programs including AmeriCorps and the Volunteer Iowa Commission.

Iowa also had Gail Klearman receive the Outstanding Service Program Staff award.
