Get your sweet tooth ready for the Washington Chamber of Commerce’s Choctoberfest. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis explains that shoppers will have a chance to sample candy and get deals to local businesses, “Participants can go shopping around the square and they can get a candy at each store and it will unwrap some savings. So, anywhere from like 10-50% off one item, or they’re just doing a bunch of different promotions.” In addition, there will be three golden chocolates that reveal Chamber Bucks prizes of $25, $50, and $100.

Eleven businesses in the downtown district will be participating. The event has been spread out over three full days and it will be held October 15-17. Participants must be high school age or older.
