Louisa County Public Health is partnering with Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa and Mercy Iowa City to conduct free COVID-19 tests on Thursday. Tests will be available from a mobile clinic located at the Mercy Family Medicine parking lot in Columbus Junction from 3-5 p.m. Individuals who should be tested include those showing symptoms of COVID-19, agricultural workers, workers in health care, first responders, law enforcement, residential facilities, and food supply, or those who have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. High risk symptoms to look out for include: headache, fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulties breathing, and loss of taste or smell. Masks will be required to be worn at the testing site.
