A Washington man was taken by helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospital following a rollover wreck Sunday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 5:08 a.m. authorities were notified of the wreck in the 2400 grid of 275th Street.

The driver was Tim Redlinger. The vehicle failed to stop at a T-intersection, drove through some bushes, hit a block wall and then rolled. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side. Redlinger was extricated with the assistance of mechanical means.

Washington Fire Department, Washington Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, Air Care, and the Washington Police assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
