October is off to a chilly start in the KCII-listening area but warmer weather is expected this week. According to the National Weather Service, the average temperature in Washington the first week of October has been 48.5 degrees, below the normal 56.7 degrees. High temperatures are expected to climb back into the lower 80s through the start of next week with plenty of sunshine. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
