A combine caught on fire in rural Washington Tuesday afternoon. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 3:53 p.m. authorities were notified of the fire in the 2600 grid of Redwood Avenue, about four miles east of Washington. A brush truck and pumper truck were requested. The Washington Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
