The Lord’s Cupboard food pantry in Fairfield will be giving out free boxed meals to low-income families this holiday season. Anyone who lives in Jefferson County and has income low enough to qualify for SNAP benefits may register for a box. Each box will contain ingredients for a traditional holiday supper, plus extra meals and snacks. Families can register for a box during October and pick them up between December 7 and 18 at the Lord’s Cupboard’s building. Boxes can be requested by emailing, calling, or sending a Facebook message to the Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County.
