The Iowa High School Athletic Union has released their latest volleyball rankings this week and the WACO Warriors are recognized. WACO checks in at No. 13 in this week’s class 1A poll. That is the highest they have risen so far, this poll marks the third straight week they have been ranked. The Warriors went 2-3 last week, dropping matches to No. 10 New London, Burlington Notre Dame and Davis County, before rebounding to beat Centerville and Cardinal Saturday. On the season, the Warriors are led by Morgan Graber with 292 kills, third most in the state in class 1A. Grace Coble’s 582 assists are fifth most in Iowa in 1A. Aubri Garsney leads the Warriors and is second in 1A with 378 digs. Ellie Miles leads the state in serve attempts and is second in serve efficiency at 331 for 347 for a 95.4% mark. The Warriors are 23-6 overall and 5-1 in the Southeast Iowa Superconference South Division.
