The Southeast Conference volleyball tournament finished up in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday and Washington fell in a pair of matches.
Last week the Demons lost to Burlington, Fort Madison, and Mount Pleasant in the first of two day tournament. On Tuesday the Orange and Black ended up on the short end of matches against Keokuk and Fairfield. The host Panthers took home the SEC Tournament crown with a 4-1 record. Washington now sits at 3-18 overall and closes the regular season tonight against Columbus Community. The Wildcats are 10-12 and currently riding a three game win streak. Olivia Carrier managed 14 kills and Sera Vela dished out 16 assists in their victory over Lone Tree last week. The Demons have won the last four meetings between these two schools including a four set match in 2019.
