The KCII Big Red Radio is ready for some Halloween fun in Washington tonight. The Big Red Radio will be joining in the Hocus Pocus in the Park festivities in Central Park starting at 6 p.m. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says Main Street Washington, the YMCA, and Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for the event, “And we’re going to be doing some activities in the park with the Y: a pumpkin giveaway and decorating contest, a costume contest. We’re going to be doing a free meal before the movie starts at 7:30 p.m. So, the activities will be from 6-7:30 p.m. before that movie.”
Then at 7:30 p.m. Hocus Pocus will be shown on the big screen on the bandstand. The PG-rated comedy follows the story of teenagers in Massachusetts trying to rid their town of a trio of witches.
People are encouraged to wear costumes and to keep six feet of social distance during the activities and movie. Remember to bring a chair and blanket for the show.
