A missing juvenile was pulled over with a stolen vehicle after a short pursuit ended on Sunday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, a deputy initiated a vehicle stop on a missing juvenile and a stolen vehicle out of Kirksville, Missouri. A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy and Iowa State Patrol assisted with a short pursuit. The vehicle stopped at Highway 218 and 150th Street in Henry County.

The juvenile was taken to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and then Four Oaks in Iowa City. The juvenile faces charges of felony eluding, possession of stolen property, no driver’s license, and speeding in excess of 25 miles per hour in a construction zone.
