This week, Sigourney-Keota Head Coach Jared Jensen talked about the rematch with Cardinal. “We know what we are going to get with Cardinal. When we played them we did see some different formations. Their skill guys are very good. They’ve got a lot of targets in the passing game and a good quarterback. We’re not going to look at that 68-8 score. This is playoffs now. At this point it doesn’t matter. It’s about us. It’s about taking care of business and playing our brand of football. We take the field, it doesn’t matter who is on the other side we are playing against our best and our kids have bought into that this season.”
Winner of tonight’s game moves to the round of 16 in the class 1A playoffs. Action begins tonight at 7p.m. at Sigourney High School.
