Mid-Prairie Superintendent Mark Schneider has been nominated for an award from the School Administrators of Iowa. Schneider is a nominee for the 2020-21 Iowa Superintendent of the Year Award. He began his career in education 40 years ago. Schneider has been a part of the Mid-Prairie district dating back to 1987 working as a substitute teacher, elementary teacher, and elementary principal before becoming Superintendent of the district in 2000. Schneider and other nominees will be honored at the School Administrators of Iowa conference in August of 2021.
