The Mid-Prairie School Board has rolled back restrictions that had been placed on activities on school grounds due to COVID-19. Beginning on Monday, November 2nd, the district will again open up facilities for non-school sponsored activities. Along with this, the board distributed their set of guidelines for those activities during the winter 2020 season. Listed among them are that face coverings are required for everyone and may be taken off for individuals participating in physical activities. Coaches and sponsors should keep face coverings on and if they need to take them off to communicate, put them back on immediately when that has finished. Organizations can enter facilities 10-minutes prior to their scheduled time, if another organization is using the facility before you, allow them to leave before you enter. Individuals should check temperatures before using the area.
Only individuals responsible for the activity and those participating should be in the facility, parents should wait in cars. Individuals must bring their own beverage to consume, drinking fountains will be turned off. If these guidelines are not adhered to the community is encouraged to contact Mid-Prairie administration.
