A warm, sunny Halloween is expected in the KCII-listening area. State Climatologist Justin Glisan shares what people can expect on Saturday, “The past few Octobers have been cold, and we’ve had some snow across the state. What the current outlooks are showing us looks like elevated chances of warmer conditions along with drier conditions for southeast Iowa.” Glisan says the forecast calls for high temperatures of 61 degrees with sunny skies.
These ideal conditions are an improvement from last year’s Halloween when over three inches of snow fell in Washington and the high temperature reached 37 degrees. The warm conditions will provide people an opportunity to partake in some outdoor Halloween activities. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
