The Washington County Republican Headquarters was visited by candidate Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks this week. The visit on Thursday was part of her 24-county tour. She is seeking the U.S. Representative District 2 seat. That post is currently held by Democrat Dave Loebsack who is not seeking re-election. The Democrat on the ballot seeking the same seat is Rita Hart.

Miller-Meeks met with voters and some local Washington County candidates at the GOP headquarters, including Sheriff Jared Schneider and Supervisor Jack Seward, both are seeking re-election unopposed.
