Clocks moved back an hour early this morning for the end of Daylight Saving Time. At 2 a.m. Daylight Saving Time for the year ended and clocks were set an hour back, providing an extra hour overnight. People are encouraged to test their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors today, too. Also, change out the batteries. Each year Daylight Saving Time runs from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday of November.
