‘X’ marks the spot on the map for fun with the 218 Treasure Trek in Riverside and Ainsworth. Saturday, November 7th, the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and area vendors are inviting southeast Iowa residents to enjoy businesses in the local community. This week, Trisha Walsh with Cellar Creations who helped organize the event talked about putting things together and what people will see. “We have noticed that over the last few years there has been more interest in craft shows, antiques, people like to go junking, they like to see repurposed projects, so we put together this road trip. We’ll have people who do woodworking, an antique store, a group that does metal fabrications and iron work, repurposed projects, antiques and a winery is involved this year. There are 10 total stops on the tour. Some stops have up to four vendors in one location.”
Those taking part will see a sign-up location for a drawing at each of 10 different vendor stops. Winners will be drawn at each location after 5 p.m. You can find a link to the map of participating vendors and more information by clicking here.
