As election results continue to be tallied coast to coast, some local races were announced with results from local county auditors Tuesday night. In Washington County, incumbent Republican Stan Stoops was re-elected to the Board of Supervisors. Stoops received 56.9% of the vote over challenger Democrat Lorraine Williams. In House District 78 that covers Keokuk County and most of Washington County, Republican incumbent Jarad Klein was re-elected. Klein received 68% of the vote over Democrat Kimberly Davis.

As of 11 p.m. Tuesday, results from Henry, Lee, and Jefferson Counties were still being counted. KCII News will provide updates for the House District 84 and Senate District 42 races, which include precincts in those counties, when voting results are available.
