Kayden Reinier has finished his Mid-Prairie football career, but has left his mark on the Golden Hawk record books. The senior finished the 2020 season with 1,271 yards, a top 10 individual season on the ground in Mid-Prairie history, ranking eighth.
His career rushing yardage total is 2,435, fifth most all-time. That places him ahead of Jordan Montgomery who ended his career with 2,405 and behind Ricky Vargas who ranks fourth with 2,592 yards. The rest of the top three is Kevin Kos third with 3,325 yards, Adam Kos with 3,675 yards and Tanner Miller the all-time leader with 4,003.
Reinier had his best rushing season from a yards gained standpoint in 2020, despite playing one fewer game. He set the individual school record for rushing yards in a game by putting up 316 yards on the ground with five touchdowns on just 12 carries in a regular season win over Central Lee.
