BeLinda Striegel, ARNP has joined the Washington County Hospital and Clinics medical team as the Long Term Care Provider, working with nursing home residents. She received her Masters of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Graceland University in Lamoni. Striegel comes to WCHC with more than 30 years of experience as a nurse, nurse educator and nurse practitioner in long term care, hospital and clinic settings. Striegel is also certified by the American Diabetes Association as a Diabetes Nurse Educator and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society, North American Menopause Society, Obesity Medicine Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Before joining the staff in Washington she served as the primary care provider at the Birmingham Clinic for Van Buren County Hospital.

Washington County Hospital and Clinics Long Term Care Provider serves the residents of Pearl Valley Rehabilitation, United Presbyterian Home, and Halcyon House in Washington along with Parkview Home in Wayland, Parkview Manor in Wellman and Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction with on-site quick sick visits, medication reviews, and management of on-going health issues.
