Hy-Vee is honoring veterans with two initiatives including a free breakfast and their Hy-Vee Homefront Round Up. This Wednesday, on Veterans Day, participating Hy-Vee stores will offer a free breakfast to all veterans and active-duty military members. Your Washington Hy-Vee will be offering the free breakfasts. Due to COVID-19 safety measures, each breakfast will be individually packaged and available via contactless drive-thru in the store parking lot. Hy-Vee expects to serve more than 90,000 meals at more than 250 stores.

In addition, veterans will receive 15% off their grocery total at the Washington Hy-Vee on November 11th.

The Hy-Vee Homefront Round Up program is in its eighth year. Customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or more, either with online orders or in-store. Donations will then go to Hope for the Warriors, Operation First Response, Puppy Jake Foundation, or the American Red Cross. Hy-Vee will match all customer donations up to $100,000.
