A man wanted for a felony in Washington was arrested in Mt. Pleasant over the weekend. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 2:05 a.m. Saturday a Henry County officer was out with a man wanted out of Washington County. Officers arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Robert Russell of Lockridge. He was wanted for theft in the second degree and driving while license barred. Theft in the second degree is a class D felony.

The charge stems from an incident that happened on October 17th when a truck was sold at an auction in rural Washington County and the person left with the truck without paying for it. Bond was set at $7,000. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
