Class A District 6 released its 2020 football all district teams and seven Columbus Community players found themselves on the list.
Three players were named to the first team in Will Schwab, Tucker Bright, and Kaden Amigon. Schwab was a staple all season for the Wildcats finishing with 747 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns that ranked second in the league. Bright was chosen as a linebacker racking up the third most tackles in the league with 44.5. The senior was also a top target with 11 receptions for 274 yards and three scores. Amigon has the second most yards on the ground for the team with 495 and five touchdowns. The freshman also tallied 37.5 tackles on the other side of the ball.
Second team selections included Mason Hodges and Robert Coil. Hodges had 25.5 tackles including three for a loss and Coil was an anchor of an offensive line that paved the way for 1,604 rushing yards. Honorable mention selections included Andy Gonzalez and Gabe Alcala. Gonzalez had 26.5 tackles as a defensive back and Alcala had 16.5 while also being a part of the offensive line.
The Wildcats finished the campaign with a 2-6 record.
